NWA SAW is my favorite NWA territory so I am starting this thread to not only update NWA SAW results, but to post links to online video of their shows. I'll also review the show each week.

The show opens with "Hot Rod" Biggs added to the announce team.
The opening match of the show was a decent match with LT Falk defeating Matt Sigmon. Although not outstanding, it was a solid, short opening encounter.
In an amusing encounter, NWA Southern Tag Team Champions Mayhem came to the ring and badmouthed their competition. They demanded that anyone who thought they could beat them should come out and fight for the title. The somewhat goofy Team IOU came out to answer the challenge and suprisingly defeated Mayhem in a manner of seconds. While Team IOU celebrated, Mayhem complained that they were not ready and demanded their titles back. The win, however, was not overturned. Team IOU is the Southern Heavyweight Tag Team Champions.
Next up on Inferno was the heavily touted TLC match. It was a decent match, not comparable to the WWE or TNA or ECW types, but very good for an independent promotion. It saw Charles Alexander defeating Josh Crow, Shane Smalls and Kaden Sade.
Finally was the much touted three way dance between NWA Southern Heavyweight Champion Chase Owens, NWA Southern Televisin Champion "Mr. Everybody Knows" Shawn Schultz and NWA Smokies Heavyweight Champion Jason Kincaid. In this match, all three titles were to be on the line in consecutive falls.
The first fall was for Kincaid's title, which he successfully defended by pinning Shawn Shultz. This put Shultz's television title up for grabs in the second fall. Using the ring ropes for leverage, Shultz pinned Kincaid to retain his title. Finally the third fall was for Chase Owen's NWA Southern Heavyweight Chamionship. Kincaid won the fall by pinning Shawn Shultz and becoming the new NWA Southern Heavyweight Championship.

After the regular introduction, with "Hotrod Biggs" added to the announce team, Mayhem came down and demanded a rematch for the NWA Southern Tag Team titles. They claimed Team IOU's win was a fluke and they demanded Tony Falk to come to the ring and give them a rematch for the belts. Falk came to the ring, denied the request for the title match. He then gave Gator a one on one match and banned Brewster and Hammerjack from the ring.
Back from commercials and we see an odd promo with "Juicy" Jimmy Fletcher putting some makeup on and talking about how pretty he is. He is interupted by Miss Rachel, who leads him to the ring. Gator is put off and tries to leaves the arena. Gator eventually does get into the ring and the match begins. "Juicy" Jimmy wins the match after a Randy Orton style power slam.
The next segment is an interview with Lance Erickson by Nick Nitros. Erickson basically comes to the ring and brags about his various championship belts.
After another commercial there is a match between Jordan Kage and LT Falk. LT Falk wins after a very good match for SAW.
The return from the commercials features a tag team match from the SAW 7 year anniversary DVD. The Iron Godz retaining their NWA World Tag Team Championship against Lance Erickson and Damien Wayne. Afterwards, Rob Conway compliments his fallen foes and the two teams shake hands.
A short promo airs with Hammerjack making fun of Gator for his match with Juicy Jeff.
Following this is a match between Lance Erickson and Andrew Hunter. This is basically a squash match.
The next match is Shock N Awe versus Team IOU. This was actually a very good match, but it got interrupted by Mayhem and ended in a disqualification. Tony came to the ring as the episode went off the air.

SAW opened with a pretty good card. Three titles are on the line, the TV Title, the NWA Southern Heavyweight title and the NWA US Tag Team Titles.
The first match was between Menace and LT Falk. The match started out well, with Falk getting a few great combinations and an excellent arm drag on Menace. The camera cut away to Jason Kincaid worrying about Lance Erickson, asserting over and over that Erickson had not ben seen by anyone there. It was a pointless cutaway from what was working out to be a decent match. Menace made a decent comeback. The match was a solid old school match and I enjoyed it. Falk ended up winning the match with an inverted double underhood facebuster.
After the commercial break Josephus Brody had a title match with Shawn Shultz, the NWA SAW TV Champion. This match featured another interuption by Jason Kincaid's search for Lance Erickson. I personally like Josephus Brody. His character is meant to be somewhat of an homage to the great Bruiser Brody and although he is not nearly in Bruiser's league, Josephus is on his way. Shawn Schultz retained his title using the ropes for a leverage pin on Brody. It was a decent match; nothing special but not boring.
After a commercial break, Mayhem came to the ring holding a container marked "IOU." Nick Nitros interviewed them and they basically complained about losing the tag titles to Team IOU. After an attempted attack on Nitros, Team IOU came out for the save. In an attempt to splash Kerry Awful with dog food that they put in the bowl, Gator threw it on Hammerjack. Team IOU celebrated, with Nick Iggy falling on his back and kicking his legs up and down. Mainly this was meant to put more strain on the relationship of Gator and Hammerjack.
Chase Owens challenged Jason Kincaid in the following match. Chris Richards interupted the match by attacking Kincaid, though it hardly seemed necessary as Owens had for the most part been outwrestling Kincaid. Kincaid, however, held onto the title.
The last match was between the NWA US Tag Team Champions The Lords of Kaos defending the titles against the NWA Southern Tag Team Champions Team IOU. A personal note on Nick Iggy: he's a very decent wrestler, but that's not what I like about him. I have never seen him once, in any setting, break character. This reminds me a bit of
The predictible ending to this match ended up being the ending NWA Saw went with. Jason Kincaid came to the ring and attacked Lance Erickson, ending the match in a disqualification.

NWA SAW Results for March 9, 2014

The show begins with Mayhem coming out and demanding from Falk a rematch for the NWA Southern Heavyweight Tag Team Championship. Falk informed Mayhem he was setting up a match for the following week against Team IOU in a "Loser Eats Dogfood" match. Then Falk informs Mayhem that if they defeat their opponent on tonight's show, Falk will make the "Loser Eats dogfood" match into a title match.
LT Falk has a decent match with Zack Harnell, defeating Harnell.
Jason Kincaid made an annoying promo towards Lance Erickson, claiming he is taking permanent residence. Personal note, they need to take the NWA Southern Heavyweight title off him.
After a vignette showing the altercation between Mayhem and Team IOU last week, Mayhem has their match against the Victory Twins, Leigh and Lance Victory. Mayhem pretty much had their way with the twins for the bulk of the match, although the commentators were really playing up the twins. Mayhem took the win which guaranteed them their match against Team IOU next week.
A short vignette of Team IOU pouring a bowl full of dogfood aired.
The main event was Team IOU versus the Primetime Outlaws Brian Lee and Lee Condry for the NWA Southern Tag Team Championship. Kerry Awful pinned Lee Condry for the victory, which caused the Primetime Outlaws to begin a beat down on Team IOU and other wrestlers such as the Victory Twins that came to help.

The show started with Eric Darkstorm taking on LT Falk. Johnson and Biggs commented on the winning streak that Falk has been on as of late. The match was decent, but nothing too exciting. Darkstorm won the match after a low blow, to the shock of the announcers.
Afterwards a small promo and video of tag teams.
The second match was the Prime Time Outlaws, Brian Lee and Lee Condray versus the Victory Twins. It was a pretty standard match that basically was just to showcase Brian Lee due to his previous fame. More than one comment was made about his role as the evil Undertaker at Summerslam 1994. A lousy match that the Prime Time Outlaws won.
The next segment was an interview segment with NWA Junior Heavyweight Champion Charles Alexander. Alexander talked about his injury and mentioned he could be back in the ring in three or four weeks. He was interupted by Kevin Weatherby, who was upset he was not considered to be in the match to crown the NWA SAW Junior Heavyweight Champion. He challenged Alexander and the challenge was accepted for when Alexander comes back from injury.
NWA SAW Television Champion Shawn Schultz came to the ring for a match. His opponent, previously unknown, was revealed as Jeremiah Plunkett, making his return to NWA SAW. The title was up for grabs in the match. Shultz pretty much dominated the match, but Plunkett gave him a few bad moments. Plunkett reversed a pin attempt by Schultz and got a very fast three count from the referre which won him the NWA SAW Television Championship. Although it was celebrated as a fair win, it was an extremely fast count by the referee.
Following the next break, Plunkett had a promo with Tony Falk. Plunkett announced he would be a fighting champion and would meet every challenge. He claimed that he will never wrestle a non title match, putting his new title on the line in every match he wrestles.
The final match of the night was Lance Erickson against NWA SAW Heavyweight Championship. Kincaid stormed the ring before his introduction. It was announced early in the match that the title was on the line. Although Kincaid came out in a fury, Lance Erickson soon was able to get some offense working. Kincaid botched a back stabber on Erickson after the referee went down. Then, when Kincaid was about to hit Erickson with a chair, Eric Darkstorm ran to the ring, took the chair and hit Kincaid. With Kincaid laid flat, Darkstorm dragged Erickson on top of him. Kincaid then kicked out of an extremely long three count, surprising everyone at ringside. Darkstorm then entered the ring again and Erickson was disqualified, allowing Kincaid to retain the belt.
I'm a big fan of SAW, but it was a pretty weak show this week. I still don't get the appeal of Kincaid and see no reason for him to be holding the belt.

The show begins with Mike Sircy making his return to SAW and he starts the show.
The first match is Sigmon versus Ali Shibazz, managed by the Mad Hatter. Shibazz wins this very underwhelming match.
Hot Rod Biggs then introduced a vignette where Jason Kincaid threatened Tony Falk to get a match against the Lords of Chaos... Kincaid was granted not only the match, but the option of getting a mystery partner.
The next match was the Weatherbys versus the Wild Boys, with the Weatherbys simultaneously pinning both Wild Boys.
Nick Nitros then did an interview with Kevin Weatherby, who refused to shake his hand. Nitros then asked Kevin why he had been acting like a jerk. Kevin went on a tirade about how he is constantly overlooked and claimed his Uncle Reno was right. Kevin then got up and walked out.
The next match was a short and tragic match with the Prime Time Outlaws facing LT Falk and his partner. The Outlaws claim to have won, but they did the count and the pink themselves. This was sad to even be shown on television.
The next match was between Jason Kincaid and Hammerjack. Hammerjack kept forcing the referee to raise his hand before the match started. He was trying to convey to Kincaid that he had no chance of winning. Though Hammerjack dominated the match, Gator accidentally tripped Hammerjack after a reversed Irish whip. Gator had meant to trip Kincaid, but wasn't watching. Kincaid took advantage and won.
The final match, joined in progress, was a return match between Shawn Schultz and Jeremiah Plunkett for the NWA SAW TV Title. Plunkett retained.
A bit of a weak show, but it's likely to stay that way as long as Kincaid is holding the belt.

NWA SAW for April 6, 2014
Link for this episode: www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQ1BimGY9iI&list=UUerus7X2q2OCQDhCfiQgzZg
Even after Wrestlemania 30, I am still in a wrestling watching mood and NWA SAW is classic wrestling. I missed last week, but as there are still only four of us on the forum, I doubt anyone will care much.
The show starts out with a boring squash by the Prime Time Outlaws. I pretty much tuned all of that out.
The following match is Gator versus LT Falk. This was a decent match. LT Falk when Hammerjack inadvertently tripped Gator after a reversed irish whip. It's an old gimmick, but it was all right. Mayhem is on life support. Brother Brewster tried to make peace, but Hammerjack ot fed up and left.
Before the commercials, there was a quick promo of Team IOU. Nick Iggy was told to get his dog, Kerry Awful under control as they have a match coming up. I enjoy team IOU... yes, it is one of the most bizarre gimmicks ever, but it works for me. Team IOU came out to a great ovation. As usual, Nick Iggy is wearing his backpack and prancing around the ring. He sells his character so well.
I have no doubt that if he sticks with it, he will be very successful in pro wrestling. Their oppents are Shooting Impact.
Kerry Awful starts off against Nathan. In a sunset flip, Awful does his crotch bite on Nathan. Then he and Iggy do a good double team and switch
back and forth. Shooting Impact eventually took control of the match and I think these guys may be big players some day too. Matt Star is very
talented. He and Nathan double teamed Iggy for a while, but Kerry, the ever loyal dog, doesn't let Iggy get pinned. When Awful eventually is
tagged in, he takes down both of the Starrs. Team IOU hit their finisher, but the Starrs interupted the account. Eventually, after a double team
and a spear by Kerry Awful, Team IOU retain their titles.
The tag team match was good. And yes, maybe because I like Team IOU, I am biased. But it was a good match.
ON return from the break, Hot Rod Biggs interviewed Arrick Andrews regarding his future in NWA SAW. Arrick came back and announced his intention to
dominate SAW and win the belt. Biggs asked him if he was serious about the fans being the factor that brought him back. Andrews showed him the
answer was yes by polling the audience.
After the next break, we had a match for the NWA SAW TV Championship between champion Jeremiah Plunkett and Eric darkstorm. Darkstorm dominated
the beginning of the match. I always like watching Judas the Mad Hatter walking around the ring. He looks so tall and skinny that he almost seems
like Jack Skellington's brother or something. Plunkett basically got his ass handed to him for the majority of the match. Plunkett eventually hit
the killshot and won the match.
The final match was a bit of a throwaway between Lance Erickson and Arrick Andrews. Andrews won. It was a bit boring after a solid show. But all in all it was a good show to watch right after Wrestlemania 30.

NWA SAW Results for April 13, 2014
The show starts out with Jack Johnson and Hot Rod Biggs discussing the card. Team IOU will defend their NWA SAW Tag Team Championship. NWA SAW Television Champion Jeremiah Plunkett defends his title against Eric Darkstorm. The main event is Erik Andrews versus Lance Erickson.
The shows begins with the Prime Time Outlaws, Dennis Condrey and Primetime Brian Lee basically wasting screen time. Jack Johnson made a big error in his commentary. He claimed that Brian Lee has main evented a Wrestlemania, which has never happened. Johnson likely meant that Lee main evented a Summerslam, which he has. This was not a match, just the Outlaws beating opponents down.
Gator from Mayhem has a match against LT Falk. Hammerjack accompanied Gator despite all of their recent problems. Keeping true to their recent issues, Hammerjack "inadvertently" tripped Gator, allowing LT Falk to roll him up for the pin. The match was pretty good for SAW. Afterwards, Gator, Hammerjack and Brother Brew had a war of words. Hammerjack got irritated and left. It looks like the breakup of Mayhem is slowly getting closer.
Before going to the commercials, Nick Iggy was trying to get Kerry Awful under control in an amusing prematch vignette.
Shooting Impact was revealed as the team challenging Team IOU for the title belts. Team IOU got a huge ovation from the crowd. I am a fan of them, so that brought a smile to my face.
